Finally, and in the midst of so much intrigue, it has been announced that the concert of the interpreter of “I regret” will now take place at the Arena Square located in the Jockey Plaza.
“Due to the closure of Arena Peru for its last event, we have been forced to change location to the Plaza Arena of the Jockey Club Puerta 4. We are waiting for you today, Thursday, November 24, to enjoy the best songs by Alex Ubago from his 20-year tour. The zones and locations are respected,” says the official statement about the Alex Ubago show in Lima.
Ronald Rojas, head of Inspection of the Santiago de Surco district, explained to La República that they proceeded to close the Sand Peru because the venue accumulated several sanctions, including having exceeded the capacity in Juan Luis Guerra’s first show this 2022.
“They have accumulated more than one penalty, especially for putting people’s lives at risk in yesterday’s event (Tuesday, November 22) and that could take place today (Wednesday, 23). We want to avoid imminent danger with so many people, ”she detailed.
Through a video posted on his Instagram account, Juan Luis Guerra was very sorry for the cancellation of his concert and said that he hopes to be able to meet with his fans in Peru soon.
“We have every desire to offer you the best show this November 23, but we have been informed that the Arena Peru has been closed by the relevant authorities. This situation is out of our hands and affects both you and us,” he mentioned.
