In Mexico the Government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador arranged the program Benito Juárez Scholarship to strengthen the education sector that has been hit, like the other branches of the State, by the pandemic of the COVID-19. Also known as the AMLO Scholarship, the monetary aid is deposited monthly to thousands of beneficiary students.
The objective of monetary support is strengthen inclusive and equitable education through payments directed to those in poverty.
In the following note, check when they will pay the first payment of 2022 and the amount of money delivered per student each month.
According to the SEP calendar, the restart of classes after the end of the year holidays in Mexico will be on January 3, so the deposit must occur during the first 10 business days of the month.
To find out if you are a recipient of the scholarship, you must enter the website of the Government of Mexico in the Prospera section (https://datos.gob.mx/busca/organization/prospera).
The payment of the Benito Juárez Scholarship is 1,600 pesos every two months; that is, 800 pesos per month.
The minimum age to enroll in the Benito Juárez Scholarship is 15 years old.
The scholarship money can be withdrawn at the following liquidators: Banco Azteca, Banco del Bienestar and Telecomm.
