Carlos Bustos furious at Alianza Lima’s trip to Juliaca by bus: “Players are not sardines” [FOTO]


Carlos Bustoscoach of Lima Allianceis furious because of the tremendous trip they have to make by bus to get to Juliaca for the duel against Binational Sports that will be played tomorrow. It turns out that the 14-hour journey is not possible for their players prior to the match, because according to what the Blue and Whites’ coach said, they must train.

“In the run-up to the match against Deportivo Binacional, I want to raise my voice and say that you cannot play a match traveling 14 hours, the players are not sardines that are put in a can, the players have to train,” said the coach Argentinian emphasizing that playing in Juliaca will be difficult, but they must adapt.

“Tomorrow (today) we cannot work at any time because we have to make a trip with disastrous logistics. We do not have the possibility that they listen to us, we have a 14-hour trip, in short, we have to adapt, ”he commented.

“It will be a very tough match, since playing in Juliaca it’s hard. They are a good team, well trained, we know it will be difficult. They don’t listen to us (in the FPF), or we take this situation (traveling for several hours) or they don’t travel, imagine that way of answering”, he added.

On the other hand, Bustos referred to the issue of reinforcements. “We are focused on closing the Opening Tournament, we still have chances to fight it, but obviously it does not depend on us,” he settled. As it is recalled, the clash between Binacional and Alianza Lima was scheduled for tomorrow, at 3:30 pm, at the stadium Guillermo Briceno Rosamedina from juliaca.
