Asus held a virtual conference at the technology fair CES 2022 to introduce the world to its latest line of computers which was led by the unveiling of the world’s first 17-inch foldable OLED laptop.
Developed in collaboration with Intel Y BOE Technology Group This laptop “pushes the boundaries” by offering two touchscreen sizes in one device: a 17.3-inch, 2.5K resolution, which folds down the middle for a 12.5-inch Full HD.
This panel features Dolby Vision HDR support, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 500 nits maximum brightness, Pantone validation, and VESA HDR True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland eye care certifications.
Thanks to the flexible design, the Asus ErgoSense Bluetooth wireless keyboard and touchpad, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED can be used in multiple modes: PC, laptop, tablet, on-screen keyboard, book and extended.
In terms of performance, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED It is powered by the 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor, Intel Xᵉ graphics and Windows 11 operating system. At the same time, it incorporates up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of SSD storage.
At the sound level, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED incorporates a four-speaker system with Harman Kardon certification, Dolby Audio Atmos support, Smart Amp technology and voice recognition from Cortana and Alexa.
