The Marketing Director, Eva Mínguez, expressed her satisfaction with the results of the activity. “It has been a huge success and reminds us that we still have a lot of work to do in this potential market.”
While, the Economic and Commercial Counselor, Clara Fernández, said that it is the second time that they have organized a promotional action in Santo Domingo for the Regulatory Council, the first was last year also around this time. “There is great interest from professionals in the sector and from the Dominican consumer for the wines of this denomination of origin. We are happy to be able to bring together all the actors in one space and are committed to promoting Spanish products in this country”.
The export data from the Dominican Republic show a good trend, since they exceed the threshold of 150,000 liters in volume, and one million euros in value, according to the numbers for the 2021-22 campaign. Figures that make it one of the main importers of these Atlantic wines.
