Edomex 2023 elections: who is winning the polls in the state of Mexico?

This Sunday, June 4, the elections will be held to choose the next governor of the Mexico state and Coahuila. These elections are important, since both entities have always been under the power of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). Likewise, Edomex is the most populous state in Mexico.

It is important to highlight that the district counts are from June 7 to 10; and the generals, from June 8 to August 16.

Who is leading the Edomex 2023 surveys?

There are two days left for the state of Mexico to have the first female governor in its history. According to the polls, the leading candidate is maintaining a large lead over the runner-up, and as experts point out, it could be very difficult to beat that result.

According to the pollster Massive Caller, on May 20, around 1,000 citizens responded to the “recordings sent to homes.” First of all, it’s Delfina Gomez Alvarez, with 45.3%. The candidate belongs to Juntos Haremos Historia, made up of three parties: Morena, the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico and the Labor Party.

In second place, with 40.5%, is Alejandra del Moral de Va por el Edomex, made up of the political parties New Alliance, Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), National Action Party (PAN) and Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
