Forget a backpack with more than 3 thousand soles in the car and the driver returns it: “God will give you double”

A farmer from Argentina was returning home when, suddenly, he got off the bus, forgetting his backpack on the seat. The driver kept the bag and managed to return it to his grieving owner, because inside it was not only his cell phone, but also a large amount of money, the fruit of his work.

Ivan Avacaa bus driver from the province of Córdoba, decided to carry out a search campaign to find a passenger who left a backpack with 100 thousand pesos (S/ 3,046) and a cell phone forgotten in his transport.

“The man got out in a hurry and forgot it. A lady who was also traveling on the bus handed it to me and I took it home. I opened it to see if she had anything to contact the owner. I saw the silver, but I honestly didn’t count it. What I did do was turn on the cell phone, “Iván told El Doce.

The driver tried to contact the passenger, but was unsuccessful. Hours later, another driver asked the company if he had found a backpack. Ivan reported that he had kept it and was looking for the owner.

Iván discovered that the passenger did not live in Córdoba, but had traveled to Santiago del Estero to work on a potato harvest.

The peasant had to return to his village to attend to some family matters and it was there that he forgot his belongings. “A colleague knew the person in charge of the passenger, the man who brings people to Córdoba to collect potatoes. When I saw that he was looking for the backpack, I told him that I had it and he came to look for it,” said Iván.

Finally, the passenger was able to recover all his money and his cell phone, among other things. After what happened, he called the driver to thank him for keeping his backpack for him and looking for him to return it.

“I am proud to have a partner and friend like Iván Avaca. We contacted the owner and the backpack was delivered. These are things that make your day, never change brother, God will give you twice as much,” said Iván’s partner, Clai Villega, on Facebook.
