FPF warns that after the agreement between Alianza Lima and other clubs with GolPerú they could be downgraded

In this case, after confirming the agreement between Alianza Lima and GolPerú, the FPF spoke to clarify its position in case it continues to be unaware of the new statutes previously approved. “Throughout this process, the clubs have been kept informed because they are partners in the project; However, the situation is clear, if they do not respect the statutes and do not sign the declarations, they will not be able to participate in the following season of League 1 and this can lead to a relegation, as stipulated in the new regulations”, said the legal spokesperson for the FPF, Carlos Caro.

The executive of this sports institution said that he reiterated that the ownership of the rights to the competitions it organizes is the property of the FPF, which has the endorsement of a Bases Assembly ratified by FIFA and the TAS. It is important to note that the Peruvian federation made it clear in the new season of the first division championship, where the clubs must abide by the requirements.

Rather, whoever fails to comply with it and signs a renewal contract with the Soccer Consortium (GOLPERU) for the transmission of their matches, could be left out of the tournament and even be relegated, which is why the governing body of our soccer has requested the mandatory presentation of a declaration in accordance so that they can access rights such as marketing, brand assets, among other important aspects for the transmission.

There are other clubs that do not agree with the FPF

The blue and white club is not the only one that signed a renewal agreement with GolPerú, others have also joined, such as melgar Y scientist. Binational Sports Y Cusco FC They had already done the same and that is why the FPF is concerned that this fight exists with the local championship teams and has sent all of them a clear warning that they may be disqualified from the race.
