Francisco Boza will integrate the Executive Committee of the International Shooting Sports Federation

In a historic day, the Italian Luciano Rossi was elected as the new president of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) and Francisco Boza Dibós, president of the Peruvian National Shooting Sports Federation (FDNTP), has been selected as a member of the ISSF Executive Committee .

The election took place within the framework of the 70th ISSF General Assembly held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. For the Executive Committee, the vote was carried out among more than 20 candidates, of which only four were elected, including Francisco Boza as the most voted with 40% support.

“I am very honored by the appointment as part of the ISSF Executive Committee. This is great news for the country and the continent in general, since we will have greater representation in the International Federation. In this way, we will be able to propose initiatives in favor of the region and Peru to continue developing sports shooting”, Boza commented after the election.

The ISSF Executive Committee consists of the President, General Secretary, and four Vice Presidents (ISSF Officials, Technical Committee Chairman, and Athlete Committee Chairman), plus five council members, for four years. .

Its responsibility is to ensure the execution of the decisions of the general assembly, supervise and coordinate the administration, as well as establish procedures and act on behalf of the board of directors in urgent matters.

It also appoints ISSF delegates or technical representatives and jury members for all championships under the direction of the ISSF. The committee meets at least twice a year.
