Another Peruvian soccer player will play in Europe. This Tuesday, July 5, the F.C. Emmen of the Netherlands announced, surprisingly, the hiring of Gonzalo Sanchez. The striker arrives as a free agent and will be linked to this club for two seasons with the option of extending the link for another year.

Gonzalo Sanchez is a 22-year-old Italian-Peruvian soccer player who plays as a striker. The artilleryman was trained in the minor divisions of Lima Alliance club where he made his professional debut in 2018.

In his first years in the first team he did not have many opportunities. In the 2020 season, Chilean coach Mario Salas gave him confidence and placed him as a starter in several matches in League 1 and the Copa Libertadores.

However, the ‘9’ did not show a good performance and could not consolidate. In addition, he was part of the intimate squad that dropped sportingly at the end of the campaign.
