In order to consolidate the strategic collaboration that allows promoting different initiatives, Cathay Group signed an agreement with GWM (Great Wall Motors), within the framework of version 39 of the Thailand International Motor Expo
The event was led by Marcio Antonio Lama and José María Goldar from the Cathay Group dealer, Wayne Zhou, in charge of Central and South America, and Parker Shi, global vice president of GWM, who established the details of the agreement.
Among the models soon to arrive in the Dominican Republic, as part of this joint effort, are the technologically advanced HAVAL H6 and HAVAL JOLION, emblems of quality in various markets. Its features include smart displays, virtual HUDs, and a host of security systems with the L2 autonomous driving platform. HAVAL is a recognized automotive leader in China.
“Then there is the legendary POER pickup, which has autonomous parking, 8AT transmission, L2 autonomous driving and six airbags. This will provide unique benefits to the Dominican market,” Lama explained.
Likewise, Great Wall Motors arrives with a philosophy of “ONE GWM”, a parent brand of extreme reliability and high technology to offer a new range of products to the Dominican Republic.
