Guns N’ Roses in Lima: fans camped outside the San Marcos stadium to see the concert

Rock more present than ever in Peru. On the occasion of the concert of the band Guns N’ Roses, which will take place this October 8 at the San Marcos stadium, dozens of fans have been arriving outside the venue for days to camp and thus be able to obtain a privileged place that allows them to be close to the artists.

On the eve of the Guns N’ Roses show, a Latina newscast reached the front of the San Marcos stadium, where several people were with their tents and blankets waiting for the great musical event.

Many of the fans expressed their excitement at being able to see the American group, since their show has been suspended since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’ve been camping since Tuesday (October 4)… I’ve taken the time to be here. I’ve slept little, but it’s all for Guns N’ Roses because I’ve been a fan since I can remember, “said a follower.

Meanwhile, another young man claimed to have traveled from Moquegua to see his idols. “I am from the city of Ilo. It’s been quite a journey camping here day and night, but it’s only a few hours away,” he recounted.

This event will also mark Molotov’s return to Lima, as the Mexican band will be in charge of opening the long-awaited Guns N’ Roses concert starting at 7 pm.

An hour later, it is expected that Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan make your exit to the stage of the San Marcos stadium.
