How were the UFOs that have been shot down in the US and Canada (and the mystery of their origin)

Between February 10 and 12, 2023, three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were detected and shot down by the United States and Canada amid tensions with China due to the presence of their so-called ‘spy balloons’ in North American airspace. .

However, regarding the recently detected artifacts, the US Department of Defense has not been able to confirm their origin.

What were these new UFOs like?

On February 10, the US announced that a US Air Force F-22 shot down a suspicious object overflying its airspace over the Alaskan Sea.

John Kirby of the National Security Council reported that the object had the size of a car (smaller than the balloon shot down the previous week) and flying at an altitude of approximately 12,100 meters. They did not give more information about their physical characteristics.

The following day, Justin Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister, announced the shooting down of an unidentified object that was flying over the Yukon (northwestern Canada) thanks to a joint operation with the US.

At a press conference, Anita Anand, Canada’s Minister of Defense, explained that the object was flying at an altitude of approximately 12,200 meters and had a cylindrical shape and small dimensions.

A third UFO was detected over Lake Huron in Michigan, near the US-Canada border, local officials said.

For its part, the Pentagon explained that the object had octagonal shape and that it was flying at an altitude of about 6,100 meters.

Clues about its origin?

After the shooting down of the third unidentified flying object, at a Pentagon press conference, General Glen D. VanHerck, in command of the Air Force Northern Command, responded to a journalist who asked him about the possibility that these devices have extraterrestrial or alien origin.

“I’ll let the intelligence and counterintelligence community find out. I haven’t ruled anything out at this time,” VanHerck said.

However, so far no indications of the true nature of these objects have been announced, only visual characteristics such as their shapes or size.

“We have been taking a closer look at our airspace at these altitudes, including upgrading our radars, which may explain, at least in part, the increase in objects we have detected in the last week,” said Melissa Dalton, Assistant Secretary of National Defense and Hemispheric Affairs.

These reports only add to the mystery of UFOs in the US.

In January 2023, the Pentagon released an annual report listing 510 reports of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), a more accurate name than UFO, of which more than half could not be found. explained by the expert committee.
