We have been testing the Huawei Nova 9 for a few weeks and before publishing our review we would like to talk about one of the main strengths that this team has. We are talking about its quad rear camera that has a 50 megapixel main sensor.
The Lima Main Square was the place chosen to test this equipment that, in addition to the 50 MP main lens, has an 8MP ultra-wide angle, a 2 MP macro, a 2MP ToF sensor and a 32 MP selfie camera that can record videos up to in 4K.
To take advantage of the 50 megapixel lens of the Huawei Nova 9 we have to enter the additional camera modes and choose “High resolution”. Although it will take a few extra seconds, we will be sure that the photograph we will take will be of the best quality and will be full of vivid colors and great sharpness.
Thanks to its 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, which you can access with a single touch, this cell phone allows you to take larger shots, without the need for you to go back several steps. If you want to photograph a landscape or a crowd of people, this lens is the one to use.
Although the Huawei Nova 9 does not have a telephoto lens, it does allow you to photograph distant objects, thanks to its digital zoom of up to 10x. However, keep in mind that the further away you are from the object, the more likely that photo noise will appear.
One of the most interesting functions of this smartphone is called ‘vlog mode‘and allows you to record a video using two cameras at the same time. This feature is ideal for those who want to show a fact and record their reaction at the same time.
As for the 32 megapixel front camera, I have to admit that the result is quite acceptable, it even allows you to use portrait mode to take selfies with a bokeh effect, that is, with the background out of focus.
Finally, it is good to detail that the Huawei Nova 9 also has a professional mode, fast camera, lens camera, macro photography, panoramic photo, motion photo and a story creator call for lovers of social networks.
