Jamie Foxx Remains Hospitalized For “Medical Complication” While His Movie Wraps Up Filming

The actor Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized after his daughter Corinne Foxx reported, last Wednesday, that his father had suffered a “medical complication”.

A source told CNN that the 2005 two-time Oscar winner is under observation at a health center in Atlanta, Georgia, where “they are running tests on him and are still trying to figure out what exactly happened.”

Although Foxx has been in that city for the production of his upcoming Netflix film with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, “Back in Action”, he was not on set at the time of the emergency and was not transported by ambulance, confirmed CNN.

Also, another source told the outlet that currently the filming of “Back in Action” is not stopped and “it is expected to finish next week.”

It was Wednesday night when Corinne posted on her Instagram the news that Jamie was “on the road to recovery” after experiencing a “medical complication” about which she did not provide further details.

“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, thanks to some quick acting and great attention, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how loved he is and we appreciate his prayers. The family requests privacy during this time,” Corinne wrote.
