Jandy Ventura brings “El Legado” to Puerto Rico and continues to the Latin Grammys

The merenguero Jandy Ventura was invited to participate with his orchestra in the Christmas Lighting of the town of Juana Díaz in Puerto Rico, in a full house in the Public Square that attracted the presence of thousands of Puerto Ricans who enjoyed the extensive repertoire of Caballo Mayor .

Jandy, who presented The Legacy of his father Johnny Ventura, felt the affection that his father received in the Island of Enchantment, a land that he always considered his second Homeland and precisely the last stage outside the country, which saw him expose his 65 years of trajectory at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in 2019.

The surprise of the night was the appearance of the iconic Manía Group of that Island, who came to share the stage with Ventura to sing together the song “Salsa Pa Tú Lechón”, which three years ago these boys sang and recorded a new version with the legendary merenguero considered as the National Industry of joy.

Héctor Banchy Serrano, leader of the group, took the opportunity to present Junior, Roberto del Castillo and Jandy Ventura with the jackets they wore at this Ventura concert, where they were part of the artistic billboard that accompanied him. Each jacket symbolizes respect and admiration, for whom he now assumes the responsibility of continuing his father’s legacy by walking his music through the most important stages of the world.

Under the motto “Juana Díaz, live the tradition with faith and hope”, the concept and theme of the Christmas decorations has been developed that, year after year, has won the City praise from the citizens. This year the narration of the history of the Nativity was captured through the different prints that adorn the gardens of the Public Square and the façade of the City Hall.

In the coming days, the artist will continue his agenda in Las Vegas Nevadas to participate in the activities developed by the Latin Recording Academy, on the occasion of the week of the 22nd anniversary of the Latin Grammy, which honors the best of the music industry this coming Thursday, November 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
