The artist was more than happy to return to the Peru to reunite with his thousands of fans. In a night full of music, joy and dance, the Dominican singer surprised more than one by speaking about the operation that singer-songwriter Gian Marco had after being diagnosed with cancer. He did not hesitate to dedicate the song “For you” to him in order to show his support for his colleague and also his friend.

As is known, Gian Marco has been recovering from the cancer operation. In this sense, during his concert in Lima, Juan Luis Guerra sent a message of encouragement to the interpreter of “I would lie to you” and dedicated his emblematic song “Para ti” to him. “I want to dedicate this song to a friend you know, Gian Marco. For your complete healing we are going to sing this song”, He said at first unleashing the euphoria of the public.

Gian Marco revealed through his social networks that he was diagnosed with cancer, but thanks to being detected in time, he was able to undergo an operation to recover from it. “I decide to tell this story because I feel alive, because I just want to thank you for being here and continuing life’s plans,” he said in a lengthy message. “My body gave me signs that something was wrong. My doctor recommends me to investigate a little more and does an MRI”added the singer.

“My mother survived cancer, she knew how to detect it at the right time. This time it was my turn, I listened to my body, I got there on time and now I’m safe. For us, for ours, let us be responsible (…). Let’s not be afraid. Let’s take care of ourselves.” revealed later.
