Milly quezada was recognized this Wednesday with the Latin Grammy Award for Musical Excellence, at a ceremony held at a hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
When referring to the award with which the Latin Recording Academy has rewarded her successful career as an artist, she commented that she feels very grateful to God. “What we who were being honored had in common was the intention of passion for what we do and proud of our countries, to leave a musical proposal that will serve as a reference for future generations. The Dominican Republic was in awe and today I felt immensely happy to be a Dominican ”, she explained to Free Journal.
“As Gilberto Santa Rosa said, this is a very difficult day that is going to be erased from our lives. Being with figures such as Fito Páez, Joaquín Sabina, Emmanuel, Martinho da Vila,, Sheila E. & Pete Escovedo. They all mentioned the Dominican Republic. I am immensely happy and I thank God, ”Milly said.
The queen of merengue thanked the organization for the distinction. “We are very excited. I will be participating in special segments during the broadcast of the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony ”, he commented. The Latin Grammys will be held this Thursday.
Milly Quezada began her artistic career in the orchestra Milly, Joselyn and Los Necinos who founded his now deceased brother, Rafael Quezada.
