He Madame Tussauds Las Vegas presented this Tuesday the new figure of the Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunnywho is wearing the outfit she wore to the 2021 American Music Awards.
The set that surrounds the figure, inspired by the cover of the album El Último Tour Del Mundo by Bad Bunnyfeatures a purple semi-truck bedecked with flames in the middle of a vast desert landscape.
“Today we reveal the figure of Bad Bunny not only to celebrate his 11 nominations for the next Latin American Music Awards, but to congratulate and honor him for being the first Latino artist to headline Coachella,” said Gabriel Hewitt, general manager of madame tussauds Las Vegas.
“He is having such an incredible year and we are excited to be a part of his success by revealing his third figure,” he added.
The new figure took about six months to create by a team of 20 artists in London, according to a press release.
The process included analyzing hundreds of videos and images to capture every feature of the 29-year-old superstar, including her hair color and texture, eye color, skin tone, shape of nails, among other aspects.
The interpreter of “Ojitos Lindos” has two other wax figures, one in the branch of madame tussauds in Times Square in New York, and the other in Orlando, Florida.
