New board of directors Dominican-Italian Chamber of Commerce

The Dominican-Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCDI) held its Ordinary General Assembly on Thursday, April 13, at Casa de Italia, in which the Board of Directors for the 2023–2025 biennium, chaired by Mr. Massimiliano Wax.

Wax, Vice President of Business Strategy & Development Rizek Cacao, has been selected by the highest body of the CCDI to chair the Board of Directors of said chamber in the next period.

In the report presented to the assembly members, the former president, businessman Celso Marranzini, stressed that the Dominican-Italian Chamber of Commerce has maintained its functions, making a report of commercial activities and those of interest to members, carried out in this period. Likewise, he highlighted the participation of the present Chamber in the different activities organized by Assocamerestero, the training of the General Director and the organization of the Area Meeting of the ACCA Area 2022, in which it was hosted together with Grupo Puntacana.

On the other hand, the 1st Vice President Jeanne Marion-Landais, shared the 2022 financial statements of the Italian Dominican Chamber of Commerce and highlighted that during the last two years of management, administrative measures have been adopted that allowed the country to actively participate in events in Latin America and Italy.

The new one Board of Directors, voted unanimously, is chaired by Massimiliano Wax and made up of Jeanne Marion-Landais, first vice-president; Frank Rainieri, second vice president; Miguel Barletta, third vice president and Angelo Viro, secretary. Likewise, Felipe Vicini, Mauro Caslini, Giuseppe Bonarelli, Clara Reid, Diego Fernández, Salvador Figueroa, Roberto Herrera, Giovanni Fois, Oscar Batista and Carlos Ros, members.
