Peruvian team arrived in Lima this morning after victory in Venezuela

They have already stepped on national soil. After the historic 2-1 victory against Vinotinto for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers, the Peruvian team arrived in Lima to put an end to the concentration established during the last week of competition, which left good results, since the two expected victories were obtained against Bolivia and Venezuela.

Around 3.30 in the morning, the Peruvian team and the technical command arrived in our capital. Some soccer players did not leave the Jorge Chávez Airport as they will take return flights to their clubs.

The rest of the white and red delegation, led by ‘Tigre’ Ricardo Gareca, boarded the bus provided by the Peruvian Football Federation and headed towards Videna de San Luis.

The hero of the day, Pedro Gallese, took a few minutes to offer statements and assured that in the internship they “remain with the illusion intact” and that they are “close to the objective and we are going to fight for that.”

The goalkeeper of the Bicolor provided details of the penalty that was saved by Luis Abram’s teammate, Darwin Machis. “We had one of the kickers checked, that (Machis) was not on the list, but in the end I felt like throwing myself to the right and it was saved,” he told América TV.

Another of the footballers who spoke briefly with the press was Pedro Aquino, who despite having to be changed due to injury a few minutes after entering the field, expressed his happiness for the victory. “Very happy for all the support they always give us,” he said.
