Pietro Sibille reflects on “hitting rock bottom” in acting: “The hardest thing is to emerge”

The Republic He went in search of the cast and spoke with the Peruvian actor, who pointed out the beauty of the profession, but also referred to the difficulties that arise along the way and how this has affected him on a personal level.

Pietro Sibille is one of the most recognized actors in the country. He has starred in productions such as “La gran sangre”, “Días de Santiago”, “Misterio” and “Los otros libertadores”, in which he gave life to the martyr José Olaya.

However, quite apart from the success and recognition that she has achieved for her more than two decades of career, Sibille narrates that not everything is rosy in this career.

“The hardest thing (about acting) is being consistent, getting back up every time you fall. We all fall down, sometimes we fall into the hole and sometimes we hit rock bottom; the most difficult thing is to emerge ”, he commented to La República.

In another part of the interview, Pietro Sibille was asked if he would work together with Andrea Luna or Andrés Wiese, if the opportunity arose.

“I can work with any professional actor. Of course I would not deny that probability (…) I am a professional actor and obviously I would work with anyone no matter what happened, ”he expressed.

As recalled, in December 2021, Pietro Sibille was involved in a scandal after his ex-partner Andrea Luna accused him of physical and psychological abuse. This after the actor has assured that the protagonist of “Princesses” was unfaithful to him with Andrés Wiese.
