Price of the BCV dollar today January 12, 2022 in the Central Bank of Venezuela

The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) has the dollar price for this Wednesday, January 12, the official rate in a country with a high migratory flow in which the US currency is widely used for these purposes. And on the eve Mexico ratified that it will now request visas Venezuelan people.

On Monday night the Government of Mexico announced that it will unilaterally apply visitor or tourist visas to the passports of people from Venezuela without permission to work, due to “problems identified in the migratory flows” of people from that country.

The agreement mentioned in this statement, which addresses five problems identified in this case, will come into effect on January 21.

The exchange rate published by the BCV is the weighted average that results from the daily operations of the active exchange desks of the participating banking institutions.

The BCV has the official price of the dollar and other currencies such as euros (5.26115592 bolivars), yuan (0.72863194), Turkish lira (0.33549566) and rubles (0.06204088 Bs.).

In Cúcuta, a border city through which many migrants pass, the dollar is at 5.57 bolivars, according to the DolarToday page.

The DolarToday parallel dollar for today is 4.82 bolivars.
