Realme GT 2 is official: it arrives with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and triple rear camera

The Chinese corporation, Realme, made official the announcement of its first smartphone premium range that will compete directly with the most prominent cell phones of 2022. In this case, with its model Realme GT 2. This device is the top edition of the original mid-range Realme GHT, so its specifications are more advanced.

The new series is made up of two models: Pro and standard version. On the Realme GT 2 Pro variant, this one features a 6.7-inch screen with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The equipment does not have curved edges, so its panel is flat.

From within, this model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which is compatible with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage.

On the cameras, it incorporates a 50 megapixel main sensor and a 50 megapixel ultra wide angle sensor that uses a 150 degree lens. In the same way, it stands out for having a microscope camera that magnifies objects up to 40x. The battery is 5,000 mAh with 65W fast letter support.

With the standard version, the Realme GT 2, it has some differences in hardware compared to the 2 Pro. The version uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor, while the screen is degraded in terms of color.

At the moment it is unknown when the exact date of the worldwide launch of the Realme GT 2 series, as the brand did not disclose pricing or availability, but the information is likely to be released in the coming weeks.
