Reasanto celebrates 50 years


Santo Domingo Reinsurer (resettlement) brought together representatives of the insurance sector in the celebration of its 50 years of uninterrupted service in the national and international insurance market, ratifying the institutional commitment to continue supporting the solvency of the industry through innovative practices and high quality standards in services.

The significant occasion was the stage to launch the corporate vision for the future, and to recognize the figures and actors who, through their efforts and competition, have contributed to strengthening the industry in which they operate.

The fiftieth anniversary took place at the Bottega Fratelli restaurant in the capital city, and was headed by José A. Padilla Ortiz, executive president, who together with the company’s board of directors led the welcome commission.

Padilla Ortíz highlighted the importance of reaching half a century of operations in the insurance sector, while thanking the customer market for their trust in the company’s business value proposition.

Jairo Zambrano, general director, after propping up the role played by the company in the historical trajectory of insurance in the Dominican Republic, outlined the characteristics that comprise the new corporate vision of the group; “It has been an extremely interesting and edifying process to participate in the reinvention and update of the reinsurance offer for the Dominican market,” he said.

During the course, a special distinction was granted to Josefa Castillo, Superintendent of Insurance, based on her “great management during the time that she has been in charge of the Superintendency of Insurance”, which was delivered by the administrative director, Rafael Sanabia.

Likewise, the shareholders and personalities who have been present during the work history of resettlementincluding Luis Vásquez Hirujo, Ernesto Izquierdo, Roberto Dargam, Danio Gónzalez and Moisés Franco.
