Roonie Turner, son of Tina Turner, has died


The actor Roonie Turnerson of singer Tina Tuner and whoever was her husband and artistic partner, Ike Turner, died in Los Angeles at the age of 62, his wife confirmed this Friday on social networks.

Although his wife does not give details about the death, the digital portal TMZ reports that the emergency services received a call because the actor had difficulty breathing. He was outside his house and died minutes later despite the attention of paramedics.

On social networks, the interpreter’s wife, Afida Turner, confirmed his death with a heartfelt goodbye message, accompanied by some photographs in which she appears, Roonie and the singer Tina Turner.

“Roonie was a true angel with a huge soul (…) I did my best until the end and this time I was not able to save you, I love you for these 17 years, this is very bad, I am very angry,” said the singer. with whom he had two children.

Roonie’s death adds to the tragic story of the “Private Dancer” singer. In 2018, her firstborn, Craig Raymond Turner, the result of his relationship with saxophonist Raymond Hill, committed suicide in his California studio at the age of 59.

The singer’s second biological son followed in his parents’ footsteps and dabbled in acting in the 1990s film “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” based on his mother’s true story.
