Shooting at clandestine party in Los Angeles leaves 3 dead and 4 injured

Three people died and four others were injured in a shooting that took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 12, during a clandestine party in Los Angeles (USA) reported the Police.

The inaugural summer event at a Boyle Heights building was advertised on social media and featured a performance by rapper Money Sign Suede, local media reported.

Los Angeles Police who responded to the shots around 3.30am found two people dead inside the location. There was also a man injured on a sidewalk outside, he was taken to a hospital but died a short time later.

The fatalities would be three men believed to be in their 20s. The identities have not yet been revealed.

The building had security guards who authorities say may have fired in response to the shooting.

Three other men and a woman were also injured. Two of the men are in stable condition, but the third is in critical condition, police officials said. While the woman was treated at the scene and released.

To date, no arrests have been made and officers have not identified any suspects.

The motive for the shooting is unclear at this time and detectives say they are working to determine if it may have been gang-motivated.
