Law 14/2006 on assisted human reproduction techniques establishes that the donor does not receive remuneration for the donation, but for the physical discomfort and travel and labor expenses that may arise from the donation.
This amount is symbolic and ranges between 30 and 50 euros per donation, according to the medical journal Assisted Reproduction.
