The Panamanian singer-songwriter Boza presents his new song “Volar” and his first collaboration with the Puerto Rican urban exponent dalex.
During a flight to Santiago de Chile five months ago, the idea and concept for the song came to Boza. Returning from Chile to Florida, he arrives at a studio in Miami where he joins the renowned Colombian producer, Sky Rompiendo, with whom he achieves the perfect combination. That melodious voice was missing, and who better than the Puerto Rican Dalex to complement it. “Volar” is now available on all digital music platforms and will be part of the next album by Boza.
“It is a song that addresses the moment when we meet someone for the first time at a party and feel love at first sight. I am asking the girl to give me a chance to meet and fly together. I think that all of us young people have gone through this and I wrote it because it is something that I have lived through,” said Boza. “I want that when young people hear the song at the disco, they not only dance to its catchy rhythm, but it gives them the courage to approach that person they are attracted to. May the song help them get closer faster,” added the artist.
The music video was directed by the Venezuelan, Lennyn Salinas and Daniel Bethencourt for Mar De Fondo, and was recorded in the city of Miami, FL. The video clip has a nostalgic aesthetic where a passionate Boza is shown.
Prior to this song, Boza has released several bundles (compilation of 3 songs) among which is “¿Qué Prefieres?” (“Talismán” and “Pa’ que tú me veas”), which includes the focus track under the same name with Beéle, which has generated more than 15 million combined reproductions and views, and peaked at #4 on the chart America’s #1 Music Charts, presented by the prestigious publication Pollstar. Her most recent release was the “Booty Putty” bundle, which includes a track under the same name and two additional tracks titled “Malévola” and “Strawberry Banana”.
