Walther Lozada’s daughter regretted that the Ministry of Culture or Congress paid tribute to her father in life

harmony 10 and cumbia are in mourning. Walther Lozada, leader of the northern group, died this Monday, July 25, at the age of 61. In statements to La República, his daughter Bianca Lozada did not hide his regret because his father left this life without being recognized for his artistic contribution to Peruvian music.

“The cumbia of Peru, he is a forger of that music” Said Bianca Lozada with sadness and pride, who also thanked the public for the displays of affection, and the preparations that are being made in her homeland to receive the leader of Armonía 10, Walther Lozada, in what will be his resting place, the field Holy Heavenly Gardens.

“He left the name of Piura so high,” he said, in addition to pointing out one of the characteristics of a musician: “Perseverance led him to success.”

Along these lines, Walther Lozada’s daughter highlighted that her father died listening to two of his greatest hits “El cervecero” and “Where are you love. “And we will say goodbye to the final resting place with music,” she said.

“He leaves us a lot of songs with Armonía 10″, expressed the daughter of Walther Lozada; however, his musical contribution would not have been recognized in time, as she pointed out.

“I thank you, but I would have preferred a thousand times that they give it to you in life”, Bianca Lozada said about the condolences sent by the Ministry of Culture, an institution that, on July 10, awarded the distinction of Meritorious Personality of Culture to the Armonía 10 group.

“He deserved it. He is 50 years old with his orchestra. From the age of 12 he was already playing”, he added.

Walther Lozada’s daughter did not miss the opportunity to point out: “How much we fought for the congressmen to give him recognition in Congress, but it could not be given.”

Likewise, she was harsh in pointing out all the vicissitudes that her father and other patients endured to gain access to medical services.

“Precariousness. The authorities can waste money on something else and do not invest in health. My father took 30 hours (to get) a hospital bed”, and specified that the transplant needed by the leader of Armonía 10 could only be performed in two hospitals in all of Peru: the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins Hospital and the Guillermo Almenara National Hospital.
