Where did the Silver Sun Gallery fire originate?

The fire reported this Saturday afternoon on the second level of the plaza Silver Sun Gallery, located at the intersection of Tiradentes and Gustavo Mejía Ricart avenues, originated in one of the grease ducts of one of the stores. This was reported by José Luis Herazme, head of the body of firemen of the National District.

“The cause of fire we don’t have it yet, we found the fire in one of the grease ducts, where it was extinguished without causing any major damage,” he told Diario Libre.

“No fatalities or injuries were reported. People evacuated the place and nothing human to regret so far,” he said.

As for material damage, he reported that “on the part of the duct we had to make a hole to be able to control the flames that were inside the grease duct on the second level and that was what was practically damaged,” he explained, while assuring that the units were withdrawn from the place and only two remained, along with the unit of the 9-1-1as a preventive measure.

“The fire is totally extinct,” he explained, while clarifying that this type of fire They are classified as accidents, however, they continue to investigate the causes.

“We are going to give them the place so that they can determine if they are going to continue working normally or not,” he concluded.

This fact reminds us of other events in the area. In 2016, a car caught fire in basement 1 of Plaza Silver Sun on Avenida Tiradentes with Gustavo Mejía Ricart, without anyone being affected.
